A Carnet is an international customs document that provides duty-free customs clearance for temporary trade show imports into foreign countries and can simplify entry by eliminating the need to post a Temporary Import Bond.

What Are The Benefits of Using Carnets?

Carnets save time, effort, and money. They are valid for up to one year, allowing users to travel to multiple Carnet member countries and accommodate split shipments as needed.

U.S. Customs requires goods to match the General List with accurate descriptions and serial numbers. Errors can result in delays or revenue loss.

Licensing

TWI is registered with DDTC, facilitating State Department licenses for defense articles. TWI handles documentation and ensures compliance with AECA and ITAR.

Obtaining State Department Licenses:

Exporters or importers of defense items must register with DDTC and submit the appropriate license forms. TWI handles this process for you.
